The FRIEND'S called and have been ANSWERED! Update on the Peachtree!

About two weeks ago The Friend's initiated their first call to action and gathered reviews on the Peachtree restaurant in Kansas City after a friend of the Friend's had a bad experience there for her birthday.  We gathered all our information and we HOPED that by being a voice, there would be some action. We received many comments on Twitter and Facebook about similar experiences, some shocked readers that have never had a bad experience, and just an FYI for those that may not have known.

But, WAIT...we called and the Peachtree answered!!

Our friend Leigh Ann was contacted by the general manager of the Peachtree and invited back for drinks and appetizers as a peace offering and a gesture of kindness as an apology for her experience.  She was happy to accept for the next time she is in town, and The Friend's think that the Peachtree did the right thing and is happy for both sides all around.

SO...because the Peachtree has recognized the err of their ways...now lets do what we can to turn all those negative reviews into SHINING FIVE STAR REVIEWS!  Every experience is priceless, so let's give them another chance!

So-if you're in the Kansas City area, lets not avoid this dining venue, let's use our voice and opinions and help turn this into a premier dining spot and a "GO TO" spot on everybody's list!!

The Peachtree Restaurant has three locations in the Kansas City area.  Check out their homepage today and see what they have on the menu!!

See, The Friend's aren't JUST telling it...we are letting it be told, and GETTING THINGS DONE where we are needed!

Check out the Peachtree and come back and leave us your GLOWING reviews!!

Sorry but I don't care if they apologized, Peach Tree will never get another dime from me. What has changed? Nothing! The only difference is that now they are an unprofessional restaurant who just happened to apologize for their unprofessional business practices, but have failed to rectify the unprofessional business practices that continually get them in trouble in the first place. I will never go back to Peach Tree again. 2 hours to seat people at a table in an empty restaurant? Seriously?

It's hard supporting black owned business sometimes b/c unfortunately we do shit like this that is inexcusable.

Case in point, I recently went to a restaurant in downtown Baltimore in the very nice up and coming area they refer to as "the harbor." At any rate, we had a party that was actually LARGER in size than the party at the Peach Tree during the night in question, and just like during the night of the Peach Tree fiasco, we initially had to wait for a while at the Baltimore Restaurant (called Roy's Hawaiian Fusion). You know what the manager did? He came by and said, "sorry for the wait, everybody have a free drink on me at the bar." What a novel idea.

About 10 minutes after that, we were seated. Imagine that. Actually seated within a reasonable time. At most we waited about 20 minutes. Nowhere near 2 hours.

During the meal the wait staff constantly came by the table several times to check up on us to see if we needed anything, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was on point. It was a night and day contrast to the situation at the Peach Tree where the staff there didn't really give a shit if we were ok, seated, eating good food, needed anything else after we were seated, etc.

Fuck you, Peach Tree of Kansas City. Two Times.

I hope they go out of business. They certainly deserve to.
